Sol.One
Bruges, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium, Europe
Overview
Sol.One specialises in autonomous drone systems, counter-UAS solutions and certified avionics and builds platforms including the Saboteur, the Hitchhiker and Buzzkill interceptors as well as the SolFusion data platform. The company says it draws on fourteen years of experience in EASA-certified aviation electronics (DO-178C, DO-254). Sol.One is headquartered in Bruges with production in Ghent and participates in European and Belgian defence programmes. It has an ambition to be among the top five UAV companies in Europe and has reserved the ticker DRONE on Euronext ahead of a potential listing. To support that growth, Sol.One has begun fitting out an 8,000 m2 factory in Evergem to scale production to automotive levels and has raised €2 million in equity and debt at a €750 million valuation. The company indicated it is pursuing additional follow-on investments.
