Solarize offers a meter-to-cash SaaS and a microgrid operating system that combines smart metering, billing, and plant monitoring to enable audit-proof accounting and rapid remedial actions on meter or plant failures. The company’s software lets real estate owners deliver locally produced electricity directly to tenants in business parks and account for it. Founded in 2020 by Andi Weiß, Florian Feigenbutz, and Frederik Pfisterer, Solarize tripled its team in 2022 and is implementing more than 30 projects across Germany. In October 2022 the company raised €4.3 million in a seed round to further develop its microgrid OS and grow its meter-to-cash platform. Solarize plans to use the funds to drive international expansion, with a focus on Western markets, and to continue product development. CEO Frederik Pfisterer framed the company’s mission as making onsite power generation the new normal by 2030.
