SolarPrint develops Dye Sensitised Solar Cells (DSSC), a printable photovoltaic technology that converts light from any source into energy for autonomous wireless devices. Founded in 2008 and based in Dublin, the company operates a pilot production facility in Sandyford and has 17 full‑time employees. It primarily targets wireless devices for building energy management and plans to address other markets including electronic shelf displays, building controls, medical sensors and industrial sensors. SolarPrint partners with Analog Devices, Gas Sensing Solutions and EnOcean and is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
