Overview
Founded six years ago, Solfácil operates as a full-stack ecosystem for distributed solar energy in Brazil, combining project financing with the distribution of photovoltaic equipment. The company has already financed more than R$3 billion in solar installations, surpassing 1 GW of cumulative installed capacity and serving over 110,000 end customers. Its equipment-distribution arm—launched with recent investments of R$200 million in a Jundiaí branch and R$100 million in a Pernambuco distribution center—now generates 50 % of corporate results. Solfácil reports that it has been doubling in size year-over-year as demand for residential and commercial solar grows. With access to capital-markets products such as CRIs, management aims to lower end-user interest rates and broaden its retail investor base. The latest issuance brings the firm’s 2024 capital-markets fundraising to more than R$1.5 billion, providing additional firepower to back over 22,000 new solar projects across the country.
