SolidX is a New York–based firm that facilitates total-return Bitcoin swaps and manages Bitcoin storage and security for investors. It acts as a bridge between traditional investors and the Bitcoin ecosystem by enabling swaps that transfer Bitcoin exposure while outsourcing custody. The company facilitates transaction execution, storage, and ongoing management of Bitcoin on behalf of clients. CEO Dan Gallancy and co-founder David Lehmann say SolidX seeks to reduce barriers for portfolio managers to invest in Bitcoin. The firm plans to use recent capital to further develop its offering and to improve regulatory compliance and security standards. SolidX raised $3 million to support those efforts.
