Its services often replace more unsavory lenders that small Mexican carriers have relied on. The company currently serves around 500 carriers and aims to scale to 5,000 by the end of 2025. Planned product expansion includes fuel cards and extending credit for truck purchases. Solvento is launching a freight insights platform that leverages the millions of invoices it has handled to let shippers and carriers compare trucking rates nationwide. The company is also forming partnerships with banks and newcomers to Mexico like Uber Freight to broaden distribution and accelerate growth. Solvento provides payment and credit infrastructure for the LatAm trucking sector, automating payments, financing invoices, and addressing carriers' liquidity needs. The company recently launched Solvento Audita, an AI-powered software that automates end-to-end accounts payable by integrating via APIs, reading and validating documents, matching PODs to invoices and rates, and handling complex accessorial charges. Solvento says the product reduces lengthy manual processes to hours and is already used by customers including Nestlé and 99 minutos. The business enables shippers and brokers to offer quick pay and inject working capital into the supply chain to help carriers and drivers get paid faster. Funding will be used for further product development and expanded commercial efforts to meet demand in the $200 billion LatAm trucking market. Quona Capital cited the company’s 20x growth over the past couple of years as a rationale for doubling down on the team.
