Sonantic develops "human-quality" synthetic voice technology for the games and entertainment industry, offering expressive, realistic voice acting on demand. Its product is delivered via an API and a graphical user interface that lets studios edit, sculpt and direct synthetic voice performances. The company works directly with actors to synthesise their voices and create digital versions that can generate passive income for performers. Sonantic positions its SaaS model as a way to speed iteration cycles and cut the logistical costs of traditional voice production for game studios. It already has R&D partnerships underway with more than 10 AAA game studios. The startup says it is gearing up to publicly demonstrate its ability to capture deep emotions across the full spectrum.
