Sondrel is a UK-headquartered fabless semiconductor firm that designs high-end, complex digital ASICs and systems-on-chips (SoCs). It offers a full turnkey service from architectural specification through to shipped silicon, serving markets including high-performance computing, automotive, AI, VR/AR, video analytics, image processing, mobile networking and data centres. Its designs have contributed to products from major technology brands such as Apple, Sony, Meta, Samsung, Google, JVC, Tesla and Mercedes‑Benz, and it maintains ecosystem partnerships with Arm, TSMC and Samsung. The company operates globally with offices in the UK, USA (including a new Santa Clara office), China, India and Morocco and is listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM as SND. Financially, Sondrel recently secured £5.6M (approx €6.6M) via a subscription for new shares from ROX Equity Partners Limited. Management says the proceeds will fund growth and an accelerated push into the US market to provide face-to-face services for North American customers. Founder Graham Curren described the funding as a major milestone in Sondrel's more than twenty-year journey.
