Founded in Japan in 2018 after groundwork began in 2015, SORA Technology develops drone-, satellite-, and AI-powered platforms for public-health and climate applications. Its flagship initiative, SORA Malaria Control, integrates drone-delivered mosquito larvicide with AI disease-forecasting to curb one of Africa’s deadliest illnesses. The company has already deployed its solutions in more than 10 African countries, collaborating with national governments, research institutions, and the World Health Organization. SORA’s technology is also used in agriculture, mining, and environmental monitoring to boost productivity and reduce ecological impact.
