Kottaram Agro Foods runs the Soulfull brand, which largely sells products in the breakfast meals category and aims to popularise ancient grains in innovative product forms. The company was founded in 2011 and is Bengaluru-based. Soulfull is planning to enter the beverages market in addition to its breakfast range. The firm says the Rs 35 crore investment will help strengthen its product portfolio, accelerate marketing, and expand distribution reach. Management targets distribution in over 50,000 retail outlets within the next three years. Aavishkaar has also highlighted potential social and environmental benefits from increased demand for ancient grains for marginal Indian farmers and lower input requirements.
