Sounday is an Italian digital music company led by founder and CEO Giuseppe Ravello that operates Sounday Music to provide artists, labels and brands with web and mobile services to manage the entire music lifecycle. Services include networking, content creation and distribution, sales, acquisition of mixing and mastering services, and identity management. The company partners with platforms such as Deezer (helping promote the Italian tour of Imany). Sounday raised €2M from Principia Sgr and is using the funds to expand operations. Concurrent with the investment it acquired 100% of Kiver Digital, a digital-content distributor representing over 150 labels, 6,000 artists, 45,000 songs and 50 channels; Kiver and Sounday will remain separate entities. Together the businesses have about 20 employees across Turin, Cagliari and, via Kiver Digital, Milan and Tokyo.
