The company intends to use the new funding to expand its presence in Europe, Asia and the U.S. Sourceful is an end-to-end sourcing and supply chain platform that uses data and science to help businesses source eco-friendly packaging, merchandise and components. The company has shipped over 1 million items and works with more than 40 vetted suppliers in the UK and China, serving customers across the UK, EU and US including Foundation Coffee House, Fenton, Elder, Floom and Stitched. Sourceful created a universal standard to assess sustainability impacts across a product's lifecycle and currently offers a pre-release capability that helps firms minimize carbon footprints. It co-invested in Sourceful Climate, Europe’s first platform to give businesses access to frontier carbon removal. The company plans to use new funding to scale its operating model, build its technology platform for sustainable sourcing, and invest in talent across sustainability, technology, marketing and operations, and aimed to grow its team to 60 by the end of 2021 with a new capability launch planned for 2022.
