Overview

Sourcemap provides a full-suite supply chain mapping and monitoring platform that offers assurance from raw materials to finished goods and ongoing monitoring for production, quality, sustainability and risks such as deforestation and forced labor. Led by founder and CEO Leonardo Bonanni, its software is used by traders, manufacturers and brands. Over the past year the company added more than 100 brands across food, apparel, luxury, automotive, electronics, energy and life sciences. The platform now has over two million businesses registered and more than 250 brands using its system to map and monitor supply chains. Sourcemap plans to use newly raised capital to further expand its global footprint and add business-critical solutions to its software suite. The company recently completed a Series B financing to support this growth. Sourcemap provides end-to-end supply chain due diligence software that lets global brands map their supply chains down to raw materials and enforce operational best practices. Born out of MIT research and led by CEO and founder Leonardo Bonanni, the platform encompasses supplier discovery, supply chain mapping, supplier risk assessment, transaction traceability, fraud detection, resilience planning, real-time visualization, and consumer-facing transparency. The software supports the full suite of due diligence requirements to address diverse business needs. Sourcemap is NYC-based and has more than 400,000 business entities registered on its platform. It raised $10m in a Series A financing led by Energize Ventures with participation from E14 Fund. The company plans to use the funds to expand operations in North America and establish a European subsidiary to support demand for supply chain due diligence.
