Overview
Spaceti is an Amsterdam-based provider of a Holistic Building Experience platform that helps tenants and landlords drive customer value. Led by CEO Max Verteletskyi, the platform includes a hybrid work app for booking desks, meeting rooms, parking lots and lockers, and workplace analytics using IoT data (occupancy, temperature, humidity, CO2). The platform serves enterprise clients such as Vodafone, Deloitte and Steelcase, and asset managers including CBRE, British Land and PFA, covering more than 30 million square feet. The company raised an undisclosed funding round led by Watheeq Proptech Venture and Venture to Future Fund, with participation from existing investors. Spaceti plans to use the funds to enhance its product offering, make it accessible to SMEs, grow engineering teams in Czechia and Slovakia, and open regional headquarters in KSA and the USA to strengthen partner and customer support. Spaceti develops, produces and markets technologies that give clients a precise overview of occupancy and intensity of use for desks, meeting rooms and parking spaces. The platform also measures and analyses air quality and delivers environmental analytics to improve comfort and reduce contagion risk. A mobile app lets employees reserve workspaces or meeting rooms while analytics monitor capacity and provide hourly reports. In response to COVID-19 the company added social-distancing features to limit infections and help firms manage safe returns to the office. The company says the new funding will be used to expand its solutions and recruit product and research talent. Existing enterprise customers include L’Oreal, Vodaphone and Rolls Royce. Spaceti offers an integrated indoor location-based building digitization platform that combines vertically integrated hardware (Smart stone), firmware, a mobile app and a web dashboard with an open API to connect to BMS and CAFM systems. The product suite targets tenants, property and facility managers, and owners with features such as indoor navigation, space-usage analytics, environmental sensing (temperature, humidity, CO2), instant defect reporting and room booking. The company says customers in 10 countries are paying for its services and lists clients including Skanska, Cushman & Wakefield, Škoda Auto, HB Reavis and Zalando. Spaceti employs about 30 people from 11 countries, operating out of Prague with a team presence in London. Financially, the company was initially bootstrapped, received over €1M after a Skanska UK trial and later secured CZK 28 million in investments. Spaceti is pursuing international expansion, targeting North America (U.S./Q2) and planning entry into the Middle East and Asia later in the year.
