Spareka operates an online marketplace that helps consumers find and buy replacement parts and connects them with trained specialists who guide repairs via video call. Founded in 2012 and based in France, the company also handles shipping of parts to customers. Since 2012 more than 1 million customers have repaired devices via Spareka, which the company says equates to 41,000 tonnes of CO2 avoided. Financially, Spareka reported €10 million of turnover in 2022, with its marketplace figures growing 166% and videoconferencing revenues up 128%. The fresh capital will support a pan-European expansion with launches planned in Germany, Spain, and Portugal. The service aims to simplify diagnosis, parts sourcing, and guided fixes to encourage repair over replacement.
