Spatial Labs
8850 Washington Boulevard, Shop 104, Culver City, CA, 90232, United States
Overview
Spatial Labs develops web3 infrastructure and hardware centered on an LNQ microchip embedded in products to record provenance and ownership on the blockchain and unlock online and in-person augmented-reality experiences. The company also operates a marketplace for buying and selling embedded items and sells microchips to third parties so brands can embed loyalty programs and exclusive offerings into physical products. Spatial Labs debuted Gen One Hardwear, clothing embedded with the LNQ chip, and has used the technology for virtual concerts and other experiences. The firm plans to scale its blockchain-enabled technology, expand into media and entertainment, and lower barriers to web3 and AR adoption using its chip technology. Later this year it intends to launch a device called Node to simplify developing and deploying augmented-reality experiences. Financially, Spatial Labs closed a $10 million seed round led by Blockchain Capital with participation from Marcy Venture Partners.
