Speede Fitness builds the Speede Challenger, a connected fitness machine that combines isotonic, isokinetic, and max eccentric training to accelerate strength gains. The company is led by Dan Mooney and has signed partners from the NFL, NBA, UFC and the business world. Speede has enlisted professional athletes and entrepreneurs as backers and equity holders to support commercialization. It raised $2.5M in seed funding to prepare for a summer product launch. David Meltzer and Ed Mylett are involved as investors/equity holders and the company is using the seed proceeds to ready its product rollout.
