It reports £50m of UK currency turnover with dozens of travel clients, has launched its first overseas franchise in the US, and is targeting roll‑out across the top 28 countries whose travellers spend $1 trillion overseas. The platform has attracted interest from a major US retailer with 1,000+ stores. Spendology was incorporated in March 2016 and is chaired by Don Clark, who previously sold a financial services business for an eight‑figure sum. The company’s Seedrs campaign valued it at a £1.3M pre‑money valuation.
