Spiagge.it operates a booking system for stabilimenti balneari, handling reservations, site publication and management for beach clubs and related venues. Founded out of Rimini by Niccolò Para and Andrea Menghi, the company also runs a French-language operation and created the Plages.fr domain to serve the Côte d’Azur. It currently manages online bookings for about 28% of Italy’s ~7,000 beach establishments (roughly 2,000) and plans to reach 2,600–2,700 establishments across Italy and abroad by summer 2025. In 2023 the value of bookings it managed rose to €26 million (from €6.9 million in 2021) and EBITDA was positive; the company targets €35 million in bookings and €3.8–4 million in revenues for the current year and expects to be profitable and generate cash in 2024. Headcount is stable at around 50 employees while the company expands its product to pools, waterparks and is evaluating spas, and has integrated with SIAE ticketing.
