SpiderCloud Wireless develops the Enterprise Radio Access Network (E-RAN), combining Enterprise WLAN system architecture with UMTS small cell technologies. Its E-RAN is designed to scale mobile broadband deployments inside the enterprise. The company raised $25 million in a Series B led by Opus Capital, bringing total funding to $40 million. Shasta Ventures and existing Series A investors Charles River Ventures and Matrix Partners participated in the round. In conjunction with the financing, SpiderCloud added Behrooz Parsay as senior vice president of engineering and operations. The company is based in Santa Clara, California, with offices in New Jersey, Ohio and London.
