SpinDiag develops a rapid point-of-care screening system, SpinDiag one, to test high‑risk patients for all relevant drug resistances and help prevent introduction of antibiotic‑resistant bacteria into hospitals. The company has completed successful pilot experiments and plans to enter clinical validation in Europe next year. Management has stated that following European clinical validation they will pursue FDA approval and U.S. market entry. German Accelerator Life Sciences (GALS) supported SpinDiag with mentoring and helped develop its U.S. regulatory and market access strategy. SpinDiag has received multiple awards and recognition, including being a DeepTech4Good finalist (2018), participating in Molecular Med Tri-Con (2017), and receiving a Medtech cluster award from B.
