SplashLearn is a 10-year-old U.S.-headquartered edtech startup offering game-based math and reading courses for pre-kindergarten through grade five. Its platform includes over 4,000 games and interactive activities and delivers 15–20 minutes of personalized learning to each student daily. The company serves more than 40 million registered students (10 million joined last year) and over 750,000 teachers; one in three U.S. schools uses the platform. SplashLearn charges parents $12 per month while offering the service free for schools; the U.S. accounts for roughly 80% of its revenue. Last year the company also launched a group tutoring service (3–5 students) priced at $10–$25 per hour, currently available in the U.S. and slated for domestic expansion this year. The founders are alumni of IIT Kharagpur and the business emphasizes making quality education accessible while scaling its product into additional markets.
