Spoken Communications, incorporated as Intellisist, Inc., is a Bellevue, WA–based provider of proprietary speech recognition technologies for call centers and virtual call center systems. The company offers a hosted Avaya Automated Call Distributor (ACD) that enables scalable growth without large capital expenditures. It also provides a Conversational Interactive Voice Response (IVR) that reduces dropped calls by combining automation with a human safety net. Founded in 2005, Spoken targets large-scale call center implementations and virtual/work-from-home deployments. The company received a $4.0M strategic investment to expand hosted capacity and support customers upgrading to virtual call center models.
