Spot is a mobile app that aggregates and displays users' cryptocurrency holdings across wallets and exchange accounts. Users can connect public wallet addresses or link exchange accounts via API keys; supported exchanges include Binance, Kraken, Bitfinex and Poloniex. The company runs its own nodes on Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Stellar and others to recover wallet balances and cross-checks data with third-party services. Spot rebuilt a CoinMarketCap-style pricing system, storing prices for dozens of tokens across about 150 exchanges and computing maximum cash-out values across exchanges while checking volume. The team emphasizes owning its data to avoid API rate limits and dependencies, and the app is noted for polished design and animations. Spot plans to add more exchange integrations and enable in-app trading that routes orders to third-party exchanges (it does not plan to build its own exchange). Spot raised a $1.2 million round (€1.056 million) from Kima Ventures and multiple business angels.
