Springfield Healthcare Group delivers domiciliary and residential care services across Yorkshire and Humberside, including personal care to elderly people in their own homes through Springfield Homecare. The group was established in 1967 as a single family-run care home and now cares for nearly 2,000 clients each day. Springfield Homecare, founded in Leeds in 1998, is an approved provider for seven local authorities (Leeds, Wakefield, Hull, East Riding, York, North Yorkshire and Sheffield). The business also plans to develop Seacroft Care Village, a purpose-built facility in the Seacroft area of Leeds offering day care, residential, dementia and nursing care alongside private independent living apartments. The Seacroft facility is planned to provide 96 beds and 24-hour personal care across the care spectrum from light-touch day-centre services to intensive end-of-life care. Recent investment will support geographic expansion and an increase in the number of care hours the group can provide.
