Spyryx Biosciences, founded in 2013 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, develops novel therapeutics for respiratory diseases, including cystic fibrosis (CF) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Its product candidates are designed to mimic the ENaC inhibitory effect of SPLUNC1 while offering enhanced potency and drug-like properties.
