Overview
Serverless Stack builds an open-source framework that enables engineers to build full-stack serverless apps and connect their local machines directly to the cloud for local debugging. Since launch six months ago it has grown to over 2,000 stars on GitHub and been downloaded more than 60,000 times. The company was founded in 2017 by Jay V and Frank Wang in San Francisco and participated in Y Combinator’s Winter 2021 batch. Initially focused on API use cases, it has expanded toward full-stack scenarios including APIs with databases and front-end frameworks. The team plans to build additional developer tools, a dashboard for managing applications in production, and to let the community drive the roadmap. Management envisions a platform that can take a developer from idea through to IPO.
