The privately held company holds a multitude of patents resulting from nearly two decades of acoustic gunshot-location innovation. Motorola Solutions’ investment will be used to expand ShotSpotter usage throughout the United States and globally and to advance next-generation 911 (NG911) capabilities and initiatives.
