羿尊生物 is a cell therapy solutions provider focused on treatments for solid tumors and development of allogeneic universal cell technologies. The company is developing tumor-targeted CAR-T and TCR-T cell therapies. Its R&D emphasis is on technologies suited to solid tumor indications and off-the-shelf allogeneic approaches. Recently the company completed a financing round of nearly RMB 100 million (A+ round). Proceeds will be used to advance clinical research, support regulatory filing/registration, and expand the team. Guangyuan Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor to the transaction. Yizun Biotech (Zhejiang) Co. Ltd, founded in 2018, develops original platform technologies targeting solid tumors and universal off-the-shelf cell therapies. The company has three core platforms—CNK-T, VAC-T and UT—and reported initial efficacy of the CNK-UT platform in clinical liver cancer in July 2020. It operates a nearly 3,000 square meter high-standard GMP production workshop and clinical transformation center. Yizun’s scientific advisory team includes professionals from Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Harvard University, University of Washington and Northwest Blood Center, and it has established pre-clinical and clinical collaborations with multiple hospitals. Proceeds from the recent financing will be used for talent acquisition, R&D, clinical trials and registration for CNK-UT pipeline products, optimization of core technology platforms, and international cooperation. The company previously raised a pre-A round in June 2019 of tens of millions of RMB from Livzon Pharm under a strategic cooperation agreement.
