Stader Labs operates a cross-chain staking platform that offers one-click staking across up to 10 validators to diversify stake and reduce centralization. Its product suite includes decentralized liquid staking, staking rewards for entertainment, all-in-one APIs for exchanges, and institutional staking platforms. The team says it is building protocols and products to enhance security, decentralization, liquidity and governance of major DPoS networks such as Ethereum, Terra, Polygon and Solana. CEO Amit Gajjala said the company is working to support every L1 PoS network and to expand products for both retail and institutional investors. Stader’s mission is to bring sustainable staking yields from digital assets to more than one billion users and to serve as a distribution layer of staking. The company reported closing a CoinList sale that raised $23 million from 40,000 wallets, bringing total proceeds from public and private sales to $40 million. Stader Labs operates a non-custodial, smart contract-based staking platform that helps retail and institutional users discover and access staking solutions. Its two core products are Stake Pools, which let users stake into pre-defined validator baskets, and Liquid Staking, which issues a liquid token (LunaX) for staked assets to enable DeFi participation. The company says it plays a role in decentralising proof-of-stake networks by making delegation simple and safe. Stader plans cross-chain expansion and to expand its staking infrastructure to other layer-1s while nurturing third-party builders on its decentralized infrastructure. Since launching in November 2021, Stader reports over 15,000 unique wallets staking more than 5.9 million LUNA and a total value locked of around $500 million. Financially, the company has raised a $12.5M strategic private sale at a valuation up to $450M and previously raised $4M from a syndicate of crypto-focused investors.
