Staex develops a Web3 stack and master-less management suite aimed at connecting heterogeneous IoT infrastructures with multiple blockchain and DLT protocols. The platform offers decentralized networking and a service mesh that the company says delivers up to five times lower software footprint compared with existing orchestration tools and removes single points of failure. Staex supports deployments on cloud, on-premise and on-device environments and targets large-scale device orchestration, secure data flows and low-latency use cases such as video streaming for IoT. The product was ex-cubated out of Deutsche Telekom’s innovation lab and is based on a patented technology. Current commercial use cases include smart cities and smart utilities, where the company positions its tooling as a future-proof alternative to centralized solutions. Financially, Staex recently closed a pre-seed round to fund product development and go-to-market expansion.
