Starmind International AG is a Küsnacht, Switzerland-based AI company building self-learning networks to access human expertise. Its platform uses self-learning algorithms inspired by brain and artificial neural network research to forward posed questions to the right person within an organization. The system learns about interests and expertise, creating a self-learning knowledge network that makes company knowledge available to employees in real time. The company counts clients in more than 70 countries, including Accenture, Bayer, Nestlé, Telefónica, major car builders, insurance companies, banks, the UN and the ICRC. Starmind closed a $15M growth financing from Digital+ Partners and plans to use the funds to design algorithms and accelerate global growth. Led by Pascal Kaufmann and Marc Vontobel, Starmind aims to gather knowledge across organizational boundaries and make it accessible to all employees.
