Starry Internet develops millimeter-wave broadband technology that beams high-speed internet over the air. Founded in 2015 by Chet Kanojia, the company has been operating largely in trial mode since its reveal. Its service has been tested in a limited trial around its Boston headquarters and entered a small beta in mid-last month. Starry plans to expand that beta to a larger segment of Boston early next year and roll out to additional cities by the end of 2017. The company confirmed an additional $30 million in funding, bringing total known financing to $63 million. Current round funders were not disclosed in filings.
