Starwaycomm, formally known as Chengdu Starwaycomm Technology, is a Chinese satellite communications company with more than a decade of experience building end-to-end satellite communication systems and baseband technology. Its flagship Xbaud satellite communication system is widely deployed across government ministries and industrial sectors, supporting over 20,000 active terminals that have logged more than 200,000 cumulative operating hours. The company’s current roadmap centers on commercializing fourth-generation Xbaud 4.0 technology, developing supporting baseband core chips, and scaling production of LEO satellite communication terminals. Capital from recent financings is being directed toward R&D, industrialization, and expanding manufacturing capacity to meet growing domestic and global demand. Starwaycomm’s products are used in mission-critical applications such as public security, emergency response, energy, power, firefighting, and civil protection.
