Overview
Stash is an iOS and Android app for saving links and web content with automatic classification into categories like places, books, recipes, movies, songs, videos, files and products. It offers a Chrome extension and iOS share-sheet integration, push-to-device to move content between devices, per-item notifications to remind users to revisit saves, searchable filters, and an Inbox for sharing. The app’s classification technology was developed from the founders’ prior product, Speare, and is designed to improve as more people use and correct the data. Stash targets broader link types beyond article-focused "read it later" services by organizing many content verticals in one place. The app is available as a free download and is not yet generating revenue. The company is backed by $20,000 in seed funding from Dorm Room Fund plus friends-and-family contributions; the founding team includes Cornell students Rahul Shah (CEO), Chris Goes (CTO) and Sachin Rudraraju (CPO).
