Stashbee is a London-based online sharing-economy platform that matches individuals and businesses in the UK who need secure storage with hosts who rent out idle space. Founded in 2015, the marketplace allows hosts to earn cash and offers customers bookable storage across over one million square feet. The company says it is now the sixth largest storage provider in the UK and has onboarded over 18,500 hosts and guests in three years. Its host network is growing by over 70,000 square feet per month and June 2019 was its biggest month for onboarding and sales. Stashbee doubled sales in June over May and reports annual revenue of over €1.1 million. The startup plans to use the new funding to build on its recent UK growth as it pursues becoming a leading global destination for storage.
