Meat-Tech 3D is a Ness Ziona, Israel-based R&D company developing industrial-scale cultivated meat production technologies using advanced 3D bioprinting. It is developing a proprietary bioprinter that deposits layers of cells (including stem and differentiated cells), scaffolding, and nutrients to form structured cultured meat. Led by CEO Sharon Fima, the company aims to produce commercial, sustainable alternative proteins without animal slaughter. Meat-Tech recently closed a $7M funding round. The company intends to use the proceeds to advance its announced acquisition of Peace Of Meat and to strengthen R&D capabilities. Management says the acquisition and R&D push will open new markets, including hybrid products.
