Stealth Security builds a machine-learning driven platform to detect, distinguish and block malicious bots while permitting legitimate automated traffic. Its product targets attacks such as credential stuffing and lets customers choose which bot types to block or allow. The founding team came from PayPal, Cisco and Symantec and the company is four years old. It currently serves about a half dozen large enterprise customers, including some of the largest financial services companies in the world. The company has 15 employees and says it is targeting the high end of the market. Management plans to beef up sales and marketing and hire sales engineers and customer champion roles over the next year.
