Stelo Labs is a San Francisco-based startup building a Chrome extension to protect wallets from scams and phishing and to help users securely navigate web3. The extension is designed to work alongside every wallet and never accesses seed phrases or private keys. The company raised $6M in funding and says it will use the proceeds to expand operations and accelerate development. Stelo is announcing three new products: Stelo v2, a redesigned extension rebuilt to be simpler and faster; Stelo for developers, a developer API exposing the Stelo Transaction Engine; and Approvals.xyz, a token approvals experience to assess wallet health. These products aim to empower dApps, wallets, and developers to improve wallet safety and user experience.
