stimOS GmbH, based in Constance, Germany, develops a patented “Mimicking Bone Technology” (MBT) for osseointegrative implant surfaces. MBT is a biochemical process that initiates formation of healthy bone, has anti-inflammatory effects, provides acute anchoring of implants and substantially improves healing. The process restructures implant materials by applying a covalently bonded activation layer to impart cell-biological properties onto otherwise inert materials.
