Overview
Stonly builds a self-service customer onboarding and product-guidance platform that lets companies adapt and distribute contextual help to resolve issues in the right place. The company was started in 2018 as a platform play to scale onboarding and troubleshooting across customers. Stonly says it grew 5x in 2021 and now has over 20,000 business customers, including Telus, Univision, Backmarket, Gorgias, Mynd and UCLA. Founder Alexis Fogel created the product after observing demand for scalable self-service onboarding. The platform aims to bridge product guidance and customer support by delivering contextual content for different use cases. The business is France-based and has attracted both institutional and angel backers as it scales. Stonly provides an interactive platform for step-by-step help content that can be embedded anywhere to help users self-serve. Its product set includes a Help Content solution for end users and an Agent Guide to direct support agents to the right responses. Customers include Devialet, Happn, Dashlane and Calendly; Dashlane reported a 25% decrease in customer support tickets for its highest-volume issues after using Stonly. The company was founded in 2018 and is based in Paris and Kraków. Stonly is expanding to the US with a new New York office and has hired David Rostan as Head of Revenue to build marketing, sales, and customer success teams there. The company recently raised a seed round that will support its U.S. expansion and continued product growth.
