Stora Software provides management solutions designed to streamline operations, enhance sales, and reduce administrative burdens for self-storage facilities. The company is based in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, and is used by almost 20% of self-storage facilities in the UK. In the last six months it has almost doubled its team to 22 full-time staff as it invests to accelerate growth. Stora plans to use the new funding to expand its market reach into Europe and the US and to continue investing in product innovation. The company raised €1.5 million in the round, with €908k from the Investment Fund for Northern Ireland’s equity fund and €666k from other sources. Management says the capital will help accelerate growth into new geographies and customer segments. Stora is a web-first self storage software product that gives operators a website designed as their number-one sales channel with online bookings and payments. It automates key processes including recurring billing and customer check-in, and provides an online facility management system to customise sites, allocate units, set prices and discounts, and review business metrics. As an all-in-one solution, Stora aims to replace the multiple tools typically needed to run a self storage business online. The team initially built Stora to power their own fast-growing StoreStuff facility business in Northern Ireland. Stora launched three months before this report and is already powering self storage businesses across the UK. The company has raised £0.5m to fund continued growth in the UK and to support a launch into the United States.
