StorageCraft Technology provides backup, disaster recovery, system migration, virtualization and data protection software for servers, desktops and laptops on Windows and Linux platforms. Founded in 2003 and based in Draper, Utah, the company sells traditional on-premise licenses through more than 8,000 value-added resellers and subscription services through approximately 3,100 managed service providers. It also operates as an OEM for several third-party backup and recovery solution providers and maintains a European headquarters in Cork, Ireland plus regional offices worldwide. The company is led by CEO and Chairman Matt Medeiros and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development Curt James. StorageCraft received a $187M investment from TA Associates and intends to use the funds to continue growing operations. TA Associates’ managing directors will join the company's board.
