Storiaverse is a short-form storytelling platform that combines animated video and written content via a patent-pending Read-Watch format, letting users swipe to watch animated clips and tap to read chapters. The app launched on iOS and Android with 25 original titles spanning science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery and comedy. More than 100 creators are working with Storiaverse and the company says there are over 100 stories in development. Creators on the platform include animators Josh Ryba and Jonathan Fontaine and writer John M. Floyd; the company also has a partnership with HarperCollins and an exclusive story from TikTok animator King Science. Storiaverse compensates both writers and animators, with fees that vary by length and complexity, and plans to explore ads, merchandise, subscriptions and product placement as additional revenue streams. The company is building a Creator Suite for collaboration, performance insights and expanded monetization opportunities; founders Agnes Kozera and David Kierzkowski previously built Podcorn, and Kozera co-founded FameBit (acquired by Google in 2016).
