Storio provides battery management software and project execution partnerships to add energy storage to existing commercial and industrial solar installations. The company performs technical and revenue simulations, then partners with battery suppliers and civil engineering firms to deliver on-site storage installations. Storio remotely manages batteries to optimize self-consumption, charge from the grid at off-peak times, and perform price-conscious energy trading and grid-stabilization services. Its batteries are certified in France by Enedis and RTE, enabling the fleet to discharge into the grid during demand peaks and generate revenue. Storio uses profit-sharing agreements with host customers and estimates a typical installation pays back in five to six years; its batteries can last up to 15 years (to roughly 70% capacity).
