Founded in 2025 and based in Ancoats, Manchester, Strand Intelligence develops a platform that automates Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) investigations across cloud and endpoint environments. The company says its platform can deliver investigations up to five times faster by taking heavy investigation work off human analysts. Strand was co-founded by Will Poole and Oli Fletcher, who developed the idea while next-door neighbours. Following the £1m seed raise led by Osney Capital, Strand plans to accelerate hiring and product development. Management has outlined expansion plans into the south of England and then into EMEA and North America. No revenue or user metrics were disclosed in the reporting.
