Overview

Streami is a South Korean blockchain company that operates GOPAX, Korea’s leading crypto exchange, and offers GOFi savings products that let users earn interest on crypto assets. Founded in 2015 by CEO Junhaeng Lee, the company positions itself as a trusted digital-asset platform. Its core offerings include the GOPAX exchange and GOFi flexible and fixed-term savings products for exchange users. The company received a strategic investment from Digital Currency Group and has an exclusive regional partnership with Genesis to expand its savings product lineup. Streami says it will use the funds to accelerate growth and bolster its position as the most trusted digital asset platform in Korea. Streami is a blockchain remittance provider focused on facilitating remittances from South Korea to China and other Asian markets such as the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. The company aims to help users bypass illegal money‑transmission services and bring trusted, regulated liquidity into crypto networks. Streami is currently pre‑revenue and plans to eventually generate revenue by charging service fees to institutional clients. The startup said it will use the new funding to open branches in cities beyond Seoul and recruit new talent. Leadership (CEO and founder Junhaeng Lee) emphasized bringing regulated liquidity into crypto networks as part of the product vision.
