It closed a $10 million Series A led by Koch Disruptive Technologies. Ottawa-based One9 Ventures participated alongside existing investor DataTribe. The company will use the funding for product research and development and to launch new features for its flagship platform. Strider is also working on a new data-driven product to help organizations identify high-risk activity within their systems. Michael Palmer, president of i360 (a Koch Industries subsidiary), joined Strider’s board as part of the round. Strider provides a software-as-a-service risk intelligence platform that leverages proprietary datasets, machine learning and human intelligence to illuminate economic espionage risks beyond the cyber domain. The system is being used by Fortune 500 companies to illuminate employee, third-party ecosystem, and industry risks related to nation‑state directed activities. Its insights help organizations better safeguard employees, protect intellectual property, and secure long-term competitiveness. The company said it will use the funding to expand its team and infrastructure. Strider was co-founded by Greg Levesque (CEO), Eric Levesque (Chief Strategy Officer) and Michael A.
