Overview
StrikeReady is an AI pioneer transforming how modern security teams operate with a vendor-neutral AI security operations platform. Its command center integrates with an organization’s existing security tools to unify the tech stack and centralize and operationalize security. The platform leverages AI automation to make SOC teams more efficient and effective, enabling faster, more intelligent decision-making and proactive defense. StrikeReady addresses tool sprawl and the persistent shortage of skilled security professionals that hinder incident management and response. The company plans to use its new funding to extend product leadership in AI-based SOC technology, ramp its global go-to-market team, and continue scaling infrastructure. StrikeReady announced a $12 million Series A led by 33N Ventures with participation from Hitachi Ventures, Monta Vista Capital, Brian NeSmith, and Rod Beckstrom. StrikeReady builds a cloud-native security operations and management platform that maximizes return on organizations' existing security investments by integrating, operationalizing, optimizing, and consolidating disparate security products. The platform converges AI, data and automation to accelerate incident investigation, automate response, impart knowledge, and proactively secure organizations, targeting SOC analysts, incident responders, threat intel analysts, threat hunters, red teamers and security engineers. It integrates with leading endpoint, network, cloud and intelligence products and is designed to address the cybersecurity skill gap, analyst burnout, and siloed collaboration within security teams. The company emphasizes a human-centered approach to augment defenders' productivity and close talent gaps without off-the-job training. The team is led by founders Yasir Khalid (former engineering lead and architect at FireEye) and Anurag Gurtu (former head of security product marketing at Splunk and head of technical marketing at FireEye), supported by engineers who were early hires at FireEye. In less than two years StrikeReady deployed its product at numerous large and mid-sized enterprises and government agencies in the United States and internationally. The company raised seed funding to accelerate go-to-market, expand sales, and grow its R&D team.
