Strikerz Inc., based in Paphos, Cyprus, is the company behind UFL, a free-to-play football video game emphasizing a fair, skill-first approach for players. UFL delivers gameplay that rewards tactical knowledge and gaming ability and enables players to build their club from the ground up. The title will be free with regular feature updates and no mandatory payments or yearly fees. A closed testing phase began this autumn and an official release date has not been announced; the game is slated to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S and is available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store. The company has secured commitments of more than $40M from a group of investors to develop the new title; Cristiano Ronaldo is among the investors and will help shape the game's development and support global outreach.
